The Amur Gas Chemical Complex (AGCC), a joint venture between SIBUR and Sinopec, and LOGOPER have signed a cooperation agreement in the field of intermodal container transportation. The agreement provides for the organisation of product deliveries both within Russia and for export.
AGCC is set to become a driver for increasing cargo flows in the Far East. Servicing these volumes will require corresponding development of transport infrastructure, logistics capacities, container fleets, and rolling stock. The signed agreement will enable the partners to prepare the necessary logistics base in advance for future cargo volumes.
The companies' joint efforts will be aimed at creating a sustainable transportation system capable of ensuring reliable delivery of AGCC products to Russian and foreign consumers after the facility reaches its full design capacity.

"AGCC is one of the largest projects in the Russian petrochemical industry, and as the complex reaches full capacity, significant new cargo flows will emerge in the Far East. We must be fully prepared for these volumes in terms of the availability of logistics equipment and the development of the entire transport infrastructure. That is why we are already building the necessary logistics base together with our partners. The agreement with LOGOPER is one of the practical steps in this work, aimed at ensuring future cargo flows for AGCC and reliable delivery of products to consumers in Russia and abroad."
