Group Participates in International Transport and Logistics Forum

3 April 2026

FinInvest Group acted as a business partner of the First International Transport and Logistics Forum, a key platform for discussing major development directions of the industry. The Forum is held on the instruction of the President of the Russian Federation.

Alexander Kahidze, Head of the Group, spoke at the session “Transport and Logistics Infrastructure as a Key Element of the New Architecture of International Trade and Industrial Cooperation,” where he outlined the Group’s priorities and international projects.

The Group pays priority attention to the development of transport and logistics infrastructure. All of our terminals are located in key cargo agglomerations of Russia.

We are also improving our existing terminals: expanding track infrastructure at TLC Elektrougli, constructing class A warehouse complexes at TLC Khovrino, and launching a wagon repair depot directly adjacent to TLC Sibirsky.

We also place great emphasis on scaling the use of technologies for dispatching extended-length trains and trains with containers in open-top wagons. These have proven their effectiveness in practice. Currently, about half of all import containers from the Far East are sent to the European part of the country in open-top wagons.

We continue to develop our international projects. Our TLC Astana project, which we are implementing together with Kazakh partners, is at the design stage. This terminal should become an important point on the export route starting from TLC Uralsky to China, with a change of rolling stock in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In conclusion, Alexander Konstantinovich noted that despite all challenges, it is precisely now that infrastructure capacity needs to be expanded. This will allow us to be prepared for a likely increase in cargo flows.
